Dami Mabadeje is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia, majoring in Integrated Sciences: Public Health, Physiology, and Immunology. Driven by a deep passion for learning and advocacy, Dami is eager about advancing healthcare for marginalized communities, specifically women and children. She channels her interests through her role as a Research Assistant at BC Children’s Hospital under Dr. Matthew Carwana and her involvement with Maternal and Infant Health Canada as a Directed Studies student. In her downtime, Dami enjoys reading, exploring Vancouver’s vibrant restaurant scene, and strength training.
