Dr. Christopher Hammond, MD PhD, is a triple board-certified general psychiatrist, child & adolescent psychiatrist, and addiction medicine physician, and an Associate Professor of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences in the Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine with secondary appointments in the Behavioral Pharmacology Research Unit, Department of Pediatrics, and Division of Adolescent/Young Adult Medicine. He has over 10 years of clinical and research experience working with children and families affected by substance use and addictive disorders and has conducted research on evidence-based interventions, neural correlates, and treatment mechanisms, and published extensively on clinical best practices in this area. At Hopkins, Dr. Hammond serves as the Director of the Co-occurring Disorders in Adolescents/Young Adults (CODA) Clinical and Research Programs at Johns Hopkins Bayview and Co-Director of the CARE Clinic at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center's Harriet Lane Outpatient Pediatric Clinic.
